Barn

|

While at my fathers this easter, there is plenty good areas to do moonlight photography. This particular shot was not done under moonlight though, which in turn made it a little harder to compose. I needed to use my 50mm 1.8 manual lens and open it wide up to 1.8. I turned the ISO to 800, which is the acceptable limit for my D80. I had an idea of doing something fun with this barn at night, but when I saw that the lights from Billings were seen behind it, I had to make this shot. Its not perfect, and maybe not quite as sharp up close, but it was fun to take. I had to paint in a darker exposure on the barn to get all the detail out and I edited a few more things to make the light more dramatic. I hope you like.
